What we publish
Educational guides, model comparisons, tools, and provider information for home improvement contractors. Every page is written to answer a real contractor question, produced by the Contractor Financing Fit Check Editorial Team.
Standards
- No fabrication. No fake reviews, testimonials, ratings, statistics, credentials, or experts.
- Sourced claims. Provider facts (fees, lender counts, pricing, funding times, credit ranges) must trace to official provider documentation or written provider confirmation, with a last-verified date. When a provider's own materials conflict, we say so and label it a Provider Documentation Conflict. When a feature isn't advertised, we say "not publicly advertised" rather than claiming it doesn't exist.
- Hedged outcomes. Financing outcomes vary by applicant. We use "may," "often," "advertised as," and "varies" — never guarantees.
- Both sides. Every model and provider page includes limitations, not just advantages.
- Compensation firewall. Referral relationships never change scoring criteria or editorial conclusions. See How We Make Money.
Review and updates
Provider facts are re-verified on a scheduled cycle and pages carry updated dates. Errors are corrected under our corrections policy.
