Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Contractor Financing Fit Check ("CFFC," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use this website.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: if you choose to save your quiz result or contact us, we collect the information you submit (such as your email address, name, company, and any message). Providing contact information is optional — quiz results are shown without it.
- Quiz responses: your fit-check answers are stored in your browser (localStorage) to generate your result and preserve progress. They are transmitted to us only if you choose to save your result or request follow-up.
- Usage and device data: pages viewed, buttons clicked, scroll activity, referring URLs, campaign parameters (UTM), approximate location, browser and device type, collected through the analytics and advertising technologies below.
Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies
We use, or may use, the following technologies: Google Analytics 4 (site analytics), the Meta Pixel (advertising measurement and retargeting), browser localStorage (quiz progress, your result, attribution parameters, and your cookie-notice preference), and UTM/click identifiers (such as gclid and fbclid) to measure which campaigns and pages lead to outcomes. These technologies may set cookies or use similar identifiers. You can limit tracking through your browser settings, ad-platform preferences (such as Meta ad settings and Google's ad settings), and industry opt-outs. Blocking these technologies does not prevent you from using the site or seeing your quiz result.
How we use information
- To generate and display your financing fit result
- To email your result or follow up, when you request it
- To route you to financing partners when you click a referral link, including attaching campaign/attribution parameters to those links
- To measure site performance, advertising effectiveness, and content quality
- To operate, secure, and improve the site
How we share information
- Financing partners: if you ask to be connected or click a partner referral link, the partner receives the information needed to identify the referral (and any information you then submit on the partner's own site, which is governed by their privacy policy).
- Service providers: analytics providers (Google), advertising platforms (Meta), and the email/CRM tools we use to deliver requested follow-up.
- Legal: where required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising technologies (such as the Meta Pixel) may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under certain state privacy laws; the choices below apply.
Your choices and rights
- Email: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link; you can also email us to opt out.
- Access/deletion: you may request a copy or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing . Depending on your state or country of residence (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and others, or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
- Tracking: use browser controls, Global Privacy Control, or the platform opt-outs described above.
Data retention
Contact information you submit is retained while we have an ongoing relationship or as needed for the purposes above, then deleted or de-identified. Analytics data is retained per our analytics providers' configured retention periods. localStorage data stays on your device until you clear it.
