How We Make Money

Contractor Financing Fit Check is free for contractors. Here is exactly how the business works:

Our revenue

When a contractor decides a financing provider fits their business and enrolls through one of our referral links or introductions, that provider may pay us a referral fee or commission. That is our revenue model. We do not charge contractors, we do not sell your contact information, and we do not run third-party display ads.

How that stays honest

The model comes first. The Fit Check decides between dealer-fee and no-dealer-fee financing before any provider is mentioned. Dealer-fee results currently earn us nothing — we recommend them anyway when the answers point there.
Published methodology. Scoring weights and the reasons behind them are public. Close scores return "more information needed" or "both deserve consideration" rather than a forced pick.
Verified claims. Provider facts carry source dates; conflicts in a provider's own materials are labeled as conflicts; features we cannot find advertised are labeled "not publicly advertised."
Disclosure everywhere it matters. Near CTAs, in the footer, on results, and in ads and social content.
